I am not after fame This deed is not heroic Yet I’ll fulfil an ominous quest And all the steel I bring It won’t prevail this time But till the end I’ll hold up my crest
Off to the dark lord’s realm There’s no hope for survival This journey’s bound to end with my death I’ve sworn a vow I would Hold true to my belief May it cost my last breath
So with my pride at stake I’ll take the road I’ve chosen All of my doubts I now can deny Now that I’ve passed the mines I’m storming the morannon The point of no return has passed by
